We have an excellent track record of placing our pupils in the most appropriate schools. It is very rare indeed that a Beechwoodian is turned down by a school. This is thanks to the high quality of the applicants from Beechwood Park as well as the care that we take in placing the children.

Parents whose children join Beechwood Park in the Nursery or Junior Department do not have to worry immediately about senior schools.

However, this question comes round all too quickly and we anticipate this by making it clear to parents that we are available at an early stage to advise them on the most suitable senior schools for their child and to assist with their applications, including preparing for the entrance exams as required.

We are very experienced in this area and have positive relationships with all the local schools as well as many of those that are further afield. Pupils from Beechwood Park go on to a wide variety of high quality schools, both independent and in the state sector, day and boarding, some co-educational and some single sex.

From a very long list, here are some examples of our pupils’ destinations in recent years: Abbot's Hill, Aldenham, Aylesbury Grammar, Aylesbury High, Bedford, Berkhamsted, Haberdashers’ Aske’s (Boys and Girls), Haileybury, Harrow,  Merchant Taylors’, Mill Hill, Oundle, Queenswood, Roundwood School, Rugby, St George's, Sir John Lawes, St Albans School, St Albans High School, St Columba's College, Uppingham, Westminster.
