Beechwood Parents’ Association

The BPSPA (Beechwood Park School Parents’ Association) organises events, supports school activities and helps to foster warm relations between parents, pupils and the School. It is an established part of the school and has proved a wonderful vehicle for parents, children and the school to work together.

Over the years the BPSPA has raised considerable funds to support the school charities as well as to raise funds for school projects such as……

Message from the Chair:

Life has obviously been a little different this past year due to the pandemic, and as a result, many of the BPSPA events that we know and love have not been able to go ahead in the usual way. However, creative thinking has enabled us to bring our school community together in a Covid-safe way, with events ranging from the hugely entertaining Guy Fawkes Festival to our online Wellbeing Weekend. Most recently, we have established the BPSPA online shop selling a range of high-quality Beechwood branded goods.

We are continuing to support Keech Hospice Care and this year is particularly exciting as we are taking part in the Big Trunk Trail fundraising initiative in support of Keech. Budding artists from across the year groups have been hard at work decorating “Beechy”, our very own Beechwood Park School elephant, which will form part of a special trail in Luton over the summer.

As government restrictions continue to ease, planning is well underway for the return of our ‘Fun Night’ event later this term! It is without doubt the highlight of the school year as the school grounds are transformed into a fairground with rides and an array of games, craft and food stalls for everyone to enjoy. Fingers crossed for some good weather!
We have a very strong school community with many parents involved in the planning and organisation of a variety of events and fundraising initiatives and we are always keen to welcome anyone who can offer their time to help – we are always very happy to find time for a cup of coffee and a chat!
