The BPSPA Christmas Fayre

Hooray, it is approaching, the festive season! The BPSPA wishes all of you a wonderful time full of love and warmth. Below is what we are looking to share with you this week:

BPSPA Christmas Festive Fayre on Saturday 3 December 0900-1330

Thank you for all the support and donations to date. A few reminders:

• Don’t forget to book your Santa visit before Friday 25 November around House Match timings. Please follow this link: Book Santa Visit

• Buy your tokens in advance by card reader(receive £10.50 for the price of £10 in advance):

Wednesday 30 November, front lawn 1500-1700

Friday 2 December, front lawn 0745-0830 and at breakfast club

To sign up to any of the doodle polls for the stalls running on the day, please follow the link below and click on the stall you are able to help on:

Donations needed – thank you in advance! We would gratefully receive donations of:

• Christmas chocolates (boxes of chocs, selection boxes, sweet tubes, bags of coins, advent calendars etc) all sizes, for the Chocolate Tombola Stall
• ‘Pre-loved’ (not broken) Toys and Children’s Books
• New items for the ‘Secret Santa’ room – gifts for brothers and sisters, Mums and Dads (no alcohol please)
• Oats, cheerios, sprinkles for the Reindeer food stall (no glitter please)
• Christmas Jumpers for our Christmas jumper exchange.
• At pick up or drop off the day before day of the fayre, please bring any cake donations (cupcakes, whole cakes, brownies, cookies etc) to the main entrance. We will be running a ‘Yule Log’ cake competition so please bring any entries to the same place on the same dates…good luck!

Collection boxes can be found in the Main Reception, Junior Department and Woodlands Nursery.

IMPORTANT: A reminder that we are a nut free school, please do not send in any products that contain nuts as we have a number of children with very serious nut allergies.

BPSPA Reverse Advent Calendar

In the spirit of Christmas giving, the BPSPA are bringing back the Reverse Advent Calendar this year. We are asking our lovely Beechwood families to bring a couple of items into school to donate to those people in our communities who rely on food banks to survive. Each day from Monday 5^th December until the end of term we will be collecting donations at school to pass on to the Trussell Trust in Dunstable who will collect and distribute the kind donations from you all. In order to ensure an even spread, we have allocated items across the year groups which we hope will be a helpful guide. They are also always appreciative of toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste. Boxes will be left in the junior department hall, middle department corridor and main reception for all donations. Many thanks in advance for helping us support this worthy cause!
