This Week in Woodlands

If we could ask a Woodlander what does ‘Woodlands’ stand for, we believe they could justifiably answer as follows:

  • Working with my friends on engaging challenges
  • Organising my thoughts and processes to improve my skills
  • Opening books, boxes and bags which reveal more about the world to me
  • Drawing with charcoal, pens, pencils, pastels, felt tips and writing with sticks in the mud, sand and flour
  • Lowering my whole body weight with care and strength on the pirate ship steps
  • Answering questions that my friends and teachers want to know the answers to and learning to ask questions
  • Never feeling lonely or left out – instead being part of the Woodlands family
  • Doing things, all day long in a busy, inspirational and fun learning environment
  • Sleeping soundly at night after a stimulating day and knowing that the teachers are looking forward to me going back tomorrow

I think that sums up our nursery beautifully. Take a look at the photo gallery below to see a week in pictures.
