After School Care

After School Care is available and can be booked by parents of pupils in Woodlands, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 who are unable to collect their children at the end of the normal School day. After School Care is particularly popular with parents who have older children in the Middle and Senior Departments (whose School days finish at a slightly later time) and who may wish to dovetail pick-up or bus times.  An early morning Junior Department drop off from 08:00 – 08:15 Monday and Fridays and 07.45 – 08.15 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Charges apply for Tuesday (£24 per term), Wednesday (£24 per term), Thursday (£26 per term)

The After School Care facility is available every day and is run by an experienced team of DBS-checked adults who will care for your child from the end of the Junior Department day. There are two options, 3.15pm to 4.45pm and 3.15pm to 5.30pm.

The After School sessions are more relaxed than the normal school day. The children are provided with a light tea and are then able to select from a range of activities: board games, craft activities, outdoor play. The buzz of excited chatter is a testament to the enjoyment of the children who attend.

A charge is made for this facility because of the number of staff required to maintain appropriate ratios of staff to children and to provide experienced care.

Pupils from Year 3 upwards are able to join our boarders for tea (charge applies)
