This Week in Woodlands

Dear Woodlands Families,

Well…. we did it! After lots of practising, learning lyrics, questions from your wonderful children, laughing and fun, a long the way, the Woodlands Team and the Woodlanders, plus Mr Balfour presented their ; ‘The Insects Tell Out The Good News’, modern Nativity Show‘. Every year the Nursery offers a fresh and creative show to the Woodlands’ families. Some might say a bit unusual and even strange! But to that I say…’good’

Woodlands is not your average pre school provision. We are proud to be unique, to be creative , to be modern yet traditional all at the same time.

Mr Balfour has been at our side for every show since Woodlands opened in 2015, encouraging creative and child-centred learning and this year was no different. For those of you who saw the show… just think Sellotape!

But more importantly, can we congratulate every single Woodlander for their confidence, focus, growth mindset and energy.

We have had so much fun working with your children over the last few weeks to produce their Christmas Show. When we started, we wondered how we would ever get to the point of being able to invite an audience to watch us!

But, there we go. Your amazing children CAME up TRUMPS and that’s also the GOOD NEWS this season.

Here are just a few photos – more to follow in our End of Term Newsletter…

Woodlands Nativity 2022
With my best wishes and thanks to all our wonderful Woodlands Families , especially the Bachmanns and Barons for their hard work this past week.

Have a lovely weekend.

Merry Christmas from the Beechwood Librarians. We are pleased to include the Beechwood Holiday Reading List for the Junior  Department and Woodlands , highlighting some of the most recent book releases available for Christmas presents and holiday reading. The selection covers a wide range of reading levels and interests – we hope there is a book for everyone to curl up and enjoy this festive season.
