Filming

Rich in history and atmosphere, Beechwood Park Mansion and grounds present the ideal location for photoshoots, films, TV Dramas and documentaries. The School which was founded in 1964, is a very recent part of the history of the Beechwood Estate. The first mention of the site occurs in the Domesday Book of 1066; beyond this, the site has a rich and varied history that also includes visits from Henry VIII, Edward VI, and King Charles I and II.

The magnificent Queen Anne east front was added to the Jacobean House in 1702 and the parkland surrounding the house were designed by the revered English landscape architect Lancelot Capability-Brown in 1753.
