Head of Prep - Middle School - For September 2025

Beechwood Park seeks an outstanding, experienced school leader to take on the newly created role of Head of Prep – Middle School (Years 3-6) to lead on education and day to day management of over 240 pupils. Working closely with the Headmaster and Senior Deputy Head, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the school’s continued success and serve as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Head of People

Beechwood Park School is searching for its first Head of People to oversee a small but busy HR department and to develop strategies to evolve the delivery of people services and support to our friendly team of staff, line managers and the senior leadership team. This is an opportunity to make real impact in establishing Beechwood Park School as an exceptional place to work in the independent school sector.  

We’re looking for someone who has excellent operational HR experience across the full spectrum of the employee lifecycle – from safer recruitment and selection through to training and development, employee relations case management including sickness absence and wellbeing, policy development, compliance, internal communications, as well as payroll and HR systems knowledge.  The ideal candidate will have the gravitas to establish credibility, influence thinking and build relationships across the school as the go-to person for all people-related matters and advice.  

This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking their first HR leadership position but who has a solid grounding in excellent customer-centric HR practice within a medium-sized education or not-for profit setting, along with an ambition to bring new ideas and perspectives as we evolve our longer-term strategic plan. Graduate Teaching Assistant

Join our exceptional independent preparatory school as a Graduate Teaching Assistant with on-site accommodation, starting in September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate considering a career in primary or secondary school teaching to gain experience working in a progressive and forward-thinking preparatory school (ages 3-13) with flexible boarding facilities.

The role offers a  unique opportunity  to develop your teaching skills working with our wonderful and supportive team of practitioners. You will become fully immersed in school life, participating in a wide range of co-curricular activities such as after school clubs, sporting events and some residential trips. You will also be a key member of the school boarding team and will live on site in self-contained accommodation which is available 7 days per week and fully catered from Monday through to Friday lunchtime, with your own cooking facilities during other times.

For this role we are particular keen to hear from graduates with an interest in performing arts, visual arts or music although all disciplines will be considered.

Minibus Driver / Chaperone

Beechwood Park School is looking for a reliable, friendly and safety conscious individual to join our school community as a Minibus Driver / Chaperone.  If you enjoy working with children and are committed to ensuring a safe and comfortable journey, we’d love to hear from you.

As our Minibus Driver / Chaperone you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of our pupils to and from school and various school related activities.  This is a part-time role with shifts available both mornings and afternoons, and with the option to work additional hours if required supporting our non-teaching operations teams including housekeeping or other school support roles.
