BEECHWOOD PARK EQUESTRIAN TEAM JUMPS TO NEW HEIGHTS

ANOTHER INCREDIBLE OUTCOME FOR THE BEECHWOOD PARK EQUESTRIAN TEAM WHO RETURNED FROM A WEEKEND OF ARENA EVENTING AT PARWOOD EQUESTRIAN CENTRE, IN SURREY.

The team, consisting of Rory, Penny and Maya tackled a completely new discipline with their Super Star Ponies; a combination of Show Jumps and Fixed Fences and all at a greater height than they had previously faced at Competition Level.

The fact that they were quite possibly the youngest team there, with perhaps the smallest ponies, did not put them off and the children, and their steeds, rallied and faced the challenge admirably.  They managed to bag a fourth place in the Competition, making it through to the Arena Eventing Championships at Keysoe in November!

Despite the early start (a 4.30am, wake-up call), the plaiting and the travelling, it was a hugely successful day for the team and their long-suffering grooms (mothers!). The team’s dedication at training and encouragement of each other as well as their exemplary on the day were also well noted.

Congratulations to the team as they continue to put Beechwood Park School on the Equestrian Competition Map.  We can’t wait to see how they get on against their largest number of competitors at an NSEA Show Jumping Competition at Bury Farm in early November and of course at the Arena Eventing Championships.

Go Team Beechwood!
