Stay and Play at Woodlands 10 November
Thank you for your interest in our forthcoming Stay and Play at Woodlands. We are looking forward to meeting you and your child at 0930 and showing you just how much children learn and thrive in our award-winning Nursery.
Woodlands Nursery is located at the edge of our picturesque forest, where children experience a whole host of outdoor learning opportunities, alongside child initiated and adult led activities within our purpose build nursery. Woodlanders, the youngest members of the extended Beechwood family, are also able to enjoy the facilities of the prep School.
The Woodlands curriculum is colourful, innovative and designed to engage young minds, and promote an early love of learning. As well as building a firm foundation in Literacy and Numeracy, the Woodlands curriculum includes plenty of opportunities for creative exploration via music, drama, art and design, for physical development and wider exploration. Read more below about our curriculum.
During your visit, you will be able to meet our hugely experienced Early Years expert, our Head of Woodlands, Shirley Hayman, as well as our Head of the Junior Department at Beechwood, Sam McIntosh, and the Early Years team, who will share with you their vision for and experience of teaching and learning.
Your child will be able to join in with some fun activities, and you will also be able to visit our Reception classes in the Junior Department, and learn about the seamless transition between nursery and school at Beechwood.

We look forward to seeing you on 10 November.
